Jeep Talk Spoken Here No sense being too complicated until (unless?) posts and traffic warrant categories to be set up. Who wants to search through dozens of forums anyway?

Default St. Marks lighthouse

Connie and I drove down to the St. Marks lighthouse state park in October of 2012 to see if the monarch butterflies were down there as should be happening this time of year. Yep, quite a few of them feeding on the flowers that abounded around the paths in the park. Also saw other wildlife as well. We had forgotten what a really nice place this is, as it's been years since we have last been there, even though it's practically in our own backyard. It's a great place to ride bikes on the dikes (as long as you don't fall off and the gators get you!), and quite a good spot for birding and viewing other wildlife. Of course, that "wildlife" included mosquitos and biting flies as well, but oh well, that's just nature, I suppose.

Guess I need to pump up those tires on the bikes and run on out there sometime soon to bike the trails.
